12 Things At Home That Make Perfect April Fools' Pranks
April Fools' is the day you can afford to have a little fun over pranking the people around you – and get away with it! *cues evil laughter*
1. Scotch Tape

Stick a piece of invisible tape your T.V. Remote censor or computer mouse censor. “Why is it not working??” Scotch tape, that’s why.
Use Easter Egg Dye Pellets to change the colour of the water coming out of your sinks that day. Unscrew the bottom cap off the faucet and place the tablet inside. When your unsuspecting victims turn on the tap, watch them freak out when the water coming out is of a different colour!
3. Ceiling Fan
This one can get a little bit messy, but there’s nothing a quick vacuuming cannot settle! Buy or make your own confetti and rest a thin layer on top of your ceiling fan. Then sit around and wait for the confetti surprise when someone turns on the fan.
4. Water bottle
First, fill up the bottle. Next, poke holes all around the center of the bottle (do it preferably over the sink). Wait for the water to stop dripping and gently wipe off the rest. Now, put it at an obvious spot and you wait…..
5. Double Stick Tape
This one is really simple to do, and it holds endless possibilites. Stick down a pen to the table or a coin to the floor, and surprise your victims when the things do not move the way they should.
Switch their tops with socks or their pants with hats. Rearrange someone’s wardrobe to seriously confuse them when they’re half awake on April Fools’ Day morning!

Cut a giant bug out of cardboard and tape it under your lamp shade. Remember to switch off the lamp so when your victim switches it back on, there will be a scary shadow of a giant bug!
Drip a few drops of food coloring into the coloured bristles of their toothbrushes to temporarily recolour their pearly white teeth. Remember to use a matching food colouring, so they blend seamlessly into the bristles!
9. Plastic Wrap
Remove the cap of the shampoo bottle and wrap plastic wrap over the entire bottle. Remember to wrap the bottle well so that the plastic wrap is not visible. When you’re done, simply put back the bottle cap. Imagine their frustrations when they can’t seem to squeeze out any shampoo!
There are many things you can hide in their drawers. Here’s one suggestion: Print out a scary image and leave it in their drawers. Super easy, but works like a charm. ;)
11. Bar Soap & Nail Polish
Paint a generous coat of translucent nail polish over a bar of soap and leave it to dry. Your family or friends would be cracking their brains trying to understand why won't the soap lather!
12. Toilet papers
Nothing annoys people like messing with their toilet papers. You can either
Source (L - R):
(a) Remove toilet paper from toilet. Take all the toilet paper you have at home and stack them high up on top of a tall shelf.
Or you can
(b) Use a black marker and draw spiders on the toilet paper. It doesn’t even have to be a spider. Be creative and have fun with all the different things you can draw on toilet papers!
