The image of a spectacular walk in wardrobe that comes to my mind is of the one which Big builds for Carrie in Sex and the City. A walk in wardrobe is every girl’s dream (ok so even guys love it!!); these rooms provide an exquisite space for storing your clothes, shoes and other accessories comfortably and aesthetically. It is a pleasure for the eyes to walk into your very own walk in wardrobe every morning!!

A lot of you are sceptic about having a walk in wardrobe because of space constraints, but the good news is that you can have them even in a small home. Here are a few tips on accommodating your walk in closet into your small space:

1. Convert a spare room into your wardrobe

A lot of home owners don’t make good use of the small spaces in their homes. And it is usually used as a space for storing junk. But instead, you can design a beautiful walk-in closet that is elegant and affordable. The same can be done to an adjacent bedroom that you don’t use.

3. Create one behind your Bed

You can also place your wardrobe behind your bed, concealing it behind a partition that will also act as a full-length headboard. Not only does it help to hide the mess, it also provides elegance to the space.

4. Make your wardrobe the room divider

If you have a very small bedroom, you can convert the hallway divider into a headboard and a wardrobe.

5. Design it into the corner space
