Florals are a classic. One can never go wrong with elegant and versatile floral prints. Pair it with the right furniture to avoid looking too gaudy.

For the minimalist, fresh, and modern look, white on white was a go-to move. It was easy to do and match with other interiors present in the home.

Hanging oversized art pieces was a modern and bold move that many took on. It draws focus and the attention to that particular art piece and at the same time, brings out the colours of the furniture in the room if paired appropriately.
11. Chalkboard paint: write on me
Painting walls or certain pots with chalkboard paint was a big craze because of its fun and interactive appeal. Not to mention, it is also very cute. Up to today, this trend has not died down.
