  • Before moving to our new place, we were unsure if our two boys (2 year old and 4 year old) could adapt to sleeping without us, as they had always co-slept with us since they were babies. ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿป But we wanted to create a room that they would look forward to every night, so we decided to go with a Safari animals theme! ๐Ÿฆ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿฆ“๐Ÿฆ’ To keep the space flexible for their growing years, we opted for loose furniture and a queen-sized mattress without a bedframe for added safety. The thicker day curtains not only add to the cozy vibes but also ensure a peaceful night's sleep as it helps to block out the lights from the opposite block of flats. ๐Ÿ’ค
  • To keep with the theme, we painted the feature wall an earthy shade and framed up these adorable baby animal prints!
  • This minimalist chest of drawers is perfect for storing their clothes, diapers and bedding, keeping everything neat and organised.
  • We also added a 2m tall artificial coconut tree and 1.4m tall toy giraffe for some playful and whimsical vibes! ๐ŸŒด๐Ÿฆ’ The cozy round rug and bean bag help to create the perfect space for playtime and relaxation. To foster bedtime reading, we bought a small bookshelf where the books can be displayed with their covers facing outward. This allows the boys to easily choose the book they want to read. ๐Ÿ“š๐ŸŒ› Four months have passed since the boys started sleeping in their own room. We're incredibly grateful that the transition has been smooth, thanks to the fun and cozy elements at play here. ๐Ÿ’•
