Our Cosy Corner: A Nook By The Window

In a world that often feels chaotic and overwhelming, having a cosy corner in our home serves as a gentle reminder of the importance of self-care, to slow down, and enjoy life’s simple pleasures.
Upon our 1st viewing of this home, I knew I wanted a nook by the window to chill and unwind. This is where I enjoy moments of solitude and appreciate the view. In reality, I don't get to sit here for very long. But I do appreciate any pockets of me-time. :) We are blessed with a view facing the Sengkang River and Park connector, meaning we get to enjoy this unblocked view for a long, long time.

At the side, we placed our LG XBOOM 360, where we can play music according to our mood. Somedays, we prefer chill music, and somedays, we will blast some old school hip-hop music to reminisce our dancer days. The light on the speaker changes from orange to blue to pink... according to the music we're playing, making it a great ambience light too. This area also doubles up as my work and craft station. We've added plugs with USB to charge our laptops and other devices. So convenient! :)
We have day and night curtains to control the right amount of sunlight coming in to make it extra cosy. With that, we have come to the end of our home tour.
