  • Hihi, we just moved into our newly constructed place for about half a year. It’s not a rebuild nor is it an AndA. I only found out the difference when we are doing up the place.
  • There is no theme to the house specifically. Just a mish mesh of everything we like. Like these ventilation blocks…. As this was a 40 odd, 50 year old house, we were actually just thinking of redoing the roof, all the electrical and plumbing and some a and a works. However, one thing leads to another…
  • The house was very well kept by an old couple and we were so attracted by the old world charms that even though we can’t get to keep everything, we managed to salvaged the grilles.
  • The builder regalvanised them and now they are given a new lease of life in our home!
  • This is where we watch tv and chit chat with friends if the dining/ kitchen area is occupied.
  • A lounge area by the dining room.
  • This is the kitchen. Favourite spot in the house for everyone, I think. I used to only find my two adult kids in their rooms previously. Now they are mostly found here.
  • Area under the stairs is still a work in progress, would like to transform it to a cosy nook, bookshelves, lazy chair or maybe just a mat with cushions and throws. Let’s see how it goes.
