A cosy sanctuary to rest and recharge for the day ahead

Being a place of rest and recharge, we decided to keep things simple in the master bedroom. Every item that was chosen for this area needed to contribute to a comfortable and cozy rest environment! One of the biggest things we did was to limewash the whole home, including this room with Kalklitir's Calce limewash. It gives the place a warm undertone and overall cosy vibe. Another small but important addition includes these warm bedside lights that we found off Taobao.
We splurged on our mattress from Simmons, and the amazingly cool and soft sheets from Sojao, and have absolutely no regrets! These are definitely two areas that you should invest in for better sleeps every night.
We also really love these Roman blinds from Aratamete. We've always wanted Roman blinds for that soft look and yet with a reasonable blackout ability. We visited the showroom at Aratamete and fell in love with these instantly! This was made with an aesthetic yet easy to maintain mix of materials (69% polyester, 31% linen).
