  • Welcome to our cosy bedroom! One of our favourite perspectives is the view right from the bedroom door entrance. As shared in our vanity area tour, we intentionally carved out a vanity within our wardrobe to maintain a sense of openness and spaciousness in the room. We also incorporated ribbed glass into our wardrobe doors to help create a brighter and more open atmosphere.
  • To maintain a sense of openness and maximise the functionality of our room, we opted for a simple L-shaped wardrobe configuration. This layout keeps the space feeling uncluttered while offering plenty of storage.
  • We ensured that the corner of our L-shaped wardrobe is fully accessible by using 180-degree door hinges, allowing us to reach and see all our clothes at a glance easily. Our only regret? We forgot to add a middle shelf, which would have caught any clothes that fall from the top rack, making retrieval much easier!
  • One of our non-negotiables for the bedroom was a king-sized bed! It was an easy decision for us as our furkid takes up almost half the bed, so we knew we needed the extra space to keep everyone comfortable.
  • Even with the king-sized bed, there’s still plenty of space for us to move around comfortably! We’ve even managed to tuck a large laundry basket and an air purifier into the corner, and the room still doesn’t feel cramped. Having both day and night curtains was a thoughtful addition to our bedroom. The day curtains let in plenty of natural light, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. It's important to choose the right material that allows light to diffuse gently while still maintaining privacy!
  • The night curtains help us create a conducive dark environment for a restful sleep, blocking out light and preventing a harsh awakening from the morning sun. For those who are more sensitive to light, a curtain pelmet is often recommended. However, we decided against it, as the light leak helps prevent us from oversleeping!
  • Here’s another perspective of the nighttime cosiness in our bedroom, where the soft glow from the bedside table light creates the perfect setting for winding down.
