  • Welcome to our bedroom! Our bedroom is kept very simple with lots of white, and it is contrasted with our dark grey bamboo bedsheet set and black platform bedframe that you can't even see 😂
  • Our headboard was originally in its raw plywood state as I love how plywood look and wood love to see how a plywood headboard will turn out. However, long story short, it didn’t work out and we went with our second option, which is to paint the headboard the same colour as the wall. I do love how minimalist and clean it makes the room look, but I am considering to add some more contrast to the room by repainting the headboard with either black or limewash paint so if you guys have any suggestions please let me know! Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated 🫰🏽
  • One thing really interesting in our bedroom is our switch placement. Our switches are actually located right on top of our headboard! During electrical planning, we told our ID that we wanted to have the switches at the center of the headboard, and she suggested that we have it placed on top so that we won’t accidentally press on it. We didn’t want to have the switches on both sides of the bed as to reduce duplication and hence cost. Now that we have spent the past 2 months sleeping in this bedroom, we can safely say that this is a “10 out of 10 would do this again” idea!
  • Making use of our huge aircon trunking to place decor pieces 🥰
  • Here is the wardrobe that I’m really excited to share about! This wardrobe is actually a modular wardrobe system accompanied by a set of bifold sliding doors which I thought this combination is quite uncommon in sg 🤔
  • I got this modular wardrobe idea from xiaohongshu, which this idea was really popular due to its functionality, price point and interestingly due to the complete removal of plywood use, which plywood releases formaldehyde :0
  • But out of all reasons, the reason why I love this wardrobe is due to its modularity. For our wardrobe, we are using IKEA’s BOAXEL system, which has many components that we can mix and match, and also have the freedom to arrange them in anyway we want. If you want more details on this do leave a comment or dm me on Instagram and I can share more!
  • Can't get enough of drawers!
  • The wardrobe doors are bifold sliding doors which the doors not only just folds, but can also slide to any position you want! With these doors, we can open up our wardrobe almost 100% to get an unblocked view of our wardrobe.
  • The top and bottom tracks.
  • His and hers wardrobes. It's like using the "warmth" slider when you edit photos 🤭
  • Our wardrobe setting also helps to hide our aircon ledge window! p.s. is there anyone that hangs their towel in the bedroom instead of the bathroom like my husband do? :0
  • We also made sure to have power sockets in the wardrobe to plug items like a hairdryer, iron, etc.
