Welcome to low floor loft! We're a 4-room resale flat set in the city fringe. The brief to our designer was to transform our abode into an urban cave so that we can get lost in time lounging. What you're looking at is our living area, the first thing that greets us when we open the door. We spent most of our nights here debriefing the day. 
This was our original floor plan. It's a squarish layout with hackable walls throughout. This meant that we had free play! And we took it rather seriously. We knocked down every wall and reconstructed it as we please. We made space for our living room and master bed room, and reconstructed a study room in between. We also opened up the kitchen and made it all part of the living space. 
This is the living room from my favourite pov. Our 75" TV + Sonos combo helps us immerse ourselves in k-dramas – our favourite pastime. Tip: Spend time + money crafting out spaces in your home where you foresee yourself spending most time at. 
We have an open concept home. Dividing our living room and "kitchen" area is a 3m long island + dining table set. We host our friends and family here and when it's just us, this space doubles up as prep space on days we pretend to know how to cook. 
Our kitchen set up was carefully designed so that there is space for our most important appliances (for kitchen noobs) – a coffee machine, microwave and air fryer. 
What you're looking at is our master bedroom. There's nothing much going on here as we deliberately planned for the room to be used for sleeping only. We've erected a glass brick wall to separate the sink that we brought out from the bathroom as the toilet was terribly small. The area behind the brick wall doubles up as our dresser with storage space for skincare and makeup.
