  • Welcome in! This is our foyer/entryway. We designed an arched alcove featuring a 3/4 length mirror to allow us to check ourselves out before leaving home. Additionally, we customized a cushion for the seat in this area to serve as additional sitting space. The cabinet here primarily serves as a storage space for shoes, bags, Wi-Fi equipment, and various miscellaneous items. Pictures are taken by my ID’s photog 😂 We draw inspiration mainly from Studio McGee as we love their aesthetic.
  • Another closeup.
  • Adjacent to the entryway, our dining area is situated. We designed a standard dining table paired with an island top. Towards the rear, we installed open shelves and cabinets to increase our storage capacity. The tabletops are quartz from Lian Hin, and we've incorporated a power track from Line 8, keeping in mind our plans for enjoying steamboat meals.
  • Here’s another view of our dining area, lights and chairs are all from Taobao. We have since change our chair though, will share pictures of our recent place as you read on!
  • Close up of our open shelves w cabinet. We also installed led light strips to bring out the cozy vibe/mood.
  • It's worth noting the decorative fluted panels adorning our island, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the house. Regarding our flooring, we opted for vinyl floorings in the "Royal Oak Natural" style, which were from Floorxpert.
  • The kitchen is the heart of the home. What we particularly appreciate in this area are: Wells Dispenser: This addition allows us to enjoy an uninterrupted supply of hot and cold water around the clock. It saves us the hassle of boiling water and is remarkably sleek and compact, taking up minimal counter space. We've even eliminated the need for a kettle. Faucet with a Retractable Head: The retractable head on our faucet has been a game-changer for us. It greatly simplifies the process of cleaning the sink, and I must admit, it's a real time-saver.
  • Moving on to our master toilet. The fixtures and fittings in this space predominantly feature a dark color scheme, as my husband has a preference for a darker-themed bathroom.
  • Welcome to our master bedroom! To define the various areas within the bedroom, we opted for darker vinyl flooring. Additionally, we installed shaker cabinets and a lengthy dressing table to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of the space.
  • Our shared bathroom features a pink color scheme with gold fixtures. We sourced nearly all the bathroom furnishings from Taobao, while the wall tiles were from Hafary. Tiles choices: Wall: ZZ6598A S Pink arch: Ocean Petal Pink Matt Wet area: Statuario M
  • The dry section of the bathroom. We chose to keep the toilet bowl provided by HDB, which we later regretted due to its subpar flushing system.
  • Our office/study room. We refrained from any carpentry work in this space, aiming to maintain flexibility for future adjustments.
  • Our present condition after nearly two years of residence! We've adorned the shelves with decorations, replaced our chairs, and even established a small gallery wall featuring fluted panels at the rear.
  • Close up look at our current state.
  • Our common toilet at its current state. We've added a photo frame 😂 and replaced the flush cover of the BTO toilet bowl.
  • A closer look at our gallery wall. The fluted panels are from onewood, while the photo frames are from Ikea. Stay tuned for more detailed insights into each area!
