A space that gathers the people and fills up the stomachs!

Having seen many past western shows, an island appears to be the "dream" design concept to have in our kitchen space. With that in mind, the wall came down and boundary was pushed out to widen up the space. To define the space, different colour tone and material were used to provide a transitional of boundaries.
As we designed the whole general kitchen space to be in a more muted tone, a darker tone green was used to add some vibrancy yet not too contrastingly off visually. Lastly, gold handles were used to add the final touch to the whole space.
Between the service yard and the kitchen, walls were also knocked down to bring in more sunlight. By doing so, it also allows a better used of space and provide the spaciousness in visual.
