  • Drawers can quickly turn into black holes, but we’ve tamed ours with simple dividers. Now, every spoon, fork, and knife has a place. And let me tell you, it’s ridiculously satisfying to open a drawer and have everything in its spot. No more tangled cutlery or hunting for that one weird-sized spoon! What we love most about this setup is that it makes daily cooking and meal prep so much smoother.
  • If you’ve ever tried to find that one specific condiment in a chaotic kitchen cabinet, you know the struggle is real. We’ve been there! That’s why we’ve put more effort into making sure our kitchen works for us, especially with limited space and a need to keep this accessible… from daily - use items to those little things that somehow always disappear when you need them most.
  • Let’s talk about one of my favourite little features in our kitchen - this clever pull-out drawer. We decided to use this drawer to organise our placemats and kitchen linens, keeping them neatly tucked away but super easy to grab when we need them. Here’s a tip if you’re planning a kitchen renovation: consider adding pull-out drawers like this one. They’re a game changer for keeping things organized and it is much easier to see and access everything without rummaging through a deep cabinet.
  • We’ve used storage bins on shelves to keep our mugs, tumblers, and small containers in check. Having a place for everything not only makes the space look tidy but also saves us time. When we’re rushing to get our morning tea, knowing where every mug and tumbler is keeps things moving smoothly. Plus, it keeps the shelves from looking like a chaotic mess of mismatched items.
  • One of the things that used to drive us crazy was how our plates would just end up stacked haphazardly. But now, with a simple wooden holder, our plates are neatly propped up and easy to grab. It's amazing how much easier it is to access them without having to lift a heavy pile every time! In the bottom image, we used stackable organisers for instant noodles and canned goods. The best part? The clear containers let us see everything at a glance. No more guessing where the last can of tuna is hiding! It’s especially handy when you’re in a hurry or putting together a quick meal.
  • If you’ve never tried a lazy Susan in the kitchen, let me tell you – it’s a game-changer. We’ve got all our cooking oils and sauces sitting on one, and it makes grabbing what we need a breeze. Instead of shuffling bottles around, a quick spin gets us to what we need without the mess. Also, everything stays neatly corralled instead of tipping over and creating chaos.
  • The under-the-sink space can often turn into a chaotic mess, but we’ve found a way to make it work. Using an expandable rod, we’ve hung up cleaning tools, keeping them within easy reach. We’ve also added storage basket to store sponges and other cleaning supplies. Honestly, this area went from being a neglected mess to one of the most useful spots in the kitchen.
  • [Top Tips for Kitchen Organisation] Maximize vertical space: Use stackable bins, vertical racks, and shelving to make the most of every corner. Keep essentials within reach: Whether it’s oils, spices, or snacks, having them in clear, organized containers means you’ll spend less time searching. Use dividers and lazy Susans: These little tools go a long way in keeping everything tidy and accessible, especially in tight spaces. Whether you’re tackling a messy drawer or reorganising an entire shelf, these small changes can make a big difference in your everyday routine!
