  • In today’s post, we will be revealing a peek into our cozy bedroom where it is a place for us to escape, relax and most importantly, rest. These are the principles which guide our design approach for our master bedroom.
  • We have hopped on the bandwagon and decided to DIY limewash a part of our master bedroom and it is one of the best decisions made. The colour palette of our bedroom harmonises with our entire home, featuring a warm and sandy tone. Limewash gives us surfaces that are mottled and matte with a chalky texture which is what we are looking for. We got our paint and brushes from Aratamete.
  • Limewash gives us surfaces that are mottled and matte with a chalky texture which is what we are looking for. Here is the outcome! Don't you think it looks like sandy beach?
  • Our Master bedroom wardrobe is in the lovely colour of Mood Cloudy Cement by Lamitak laminate. It's has a subtle texture which we really love. And yes, we love our textures. We also have this lattice window as part of the wardrobe design which allows light to pass through and enhancing the flow of the bedroom.
  • Our wedding rings holder that we bought from IKEA. Actually, it is a wall decor piece but we have repurposed it to be our ring holder.
  • We have no ceiling fan and went along with a tower fan. Took us a while to find one that matches our aesthetic.
  • E requested for a standing vanity as she usually does her make up and skin care while standing up. It works well for her and allow us to maximise our storage space. And that is all for our master bedroom! Our bedroom is our haven of tranquillity, a place to curl up with a good book, zone our and watch some TV, or simply relax away from the world. We hope that our sharing can provide some insights and enable to you to plan out your preferred bedroom design for a good night of rest. See you next time! Goodnight :) IG: @ourjollynest
