  • We converted one of the bedroom door to a dining side-by-side sliding door that we can still lock. In future if our kids has grown up and wanting their own room, this room can still be use! For now, we enjoy the aesthetics of the door and doorframe accompanied with the elegant two ceiling lights.
  • If you want privacy eating in the dining room while the kids are playing in the living room, you can just close the door. Another investment in this is the extendable table from IKEA. It can fit up to 8 people after extending it. Easy to maintain and wipe!
  • The 3rd investment that we were proud of is the Kallax shelving unit. It has multi-purpose use such as for sitting down for the kids to read books, toys storage and you could make it stand too like the photo shown next!
  • So recently, we changed the Kallax position to vertical while cleaning/ washing up the toys inside for another fresh new look and giving more space for the dining room.
  • Here is our space now! For the kids to chill and bigger floor place to play their toys!
  • Another angle for you to have a better view and idea.
  • Previous setting for you to view!
  • Our 4th investment would be our Bertazzoni oven. It matches with my rose gold handle on the kitchen cabinet. We saved up for 6 months to get our dream oven. The aesthetics and uses is so elegant that we really get invested in this.
  • Our 5th investment is our water dispenser. This is the most that we love. It does not need to be drilled through. When we got this about 2.5 years ago it was about $170. Then when it is about time to change the filter which is every 6 months, it is only about $30 or less if there is a discount. It is so easy to refill the water too! Our 7 year old able to use this with ease when making milo, instant soups, and many more. Another thing that we love about this is that in case our kids accidentally pressed the wrong button, the water will only finish up what is left in the tank. It is not connected to the pipe. Hence, we do not have to worry about flooding the whole kitchen or wasting the water bill. They do have the button that locks the water dispenser. However since the kids is using too, accidents may happen. We really has thought through deeply the pros and cons when getting water dispenser that has different temperature filtered water.
  • The 6th investment was our samsung frame tv! We do not really like to have so many frames since it can easily collect dust. #minimalist Hence, the 2-in-1! Many couldn't find where is our TV till we say we gonna on it! Hehehe!
  • Our final best investment which is our 7th is the kids steel wardrobe! You can see below how many things we could hide and put.
  • And yes! Its magnetic too! We could hang lots of baskets that comes together with the magnets. This is where we kept toys, clothes, bags, napkins and many more! The most important thing is that we do not have to worry about moulds. Previously we bought wood based wardrobe and it easily grows mould even though we air out often. We can't spray any thing near the wardrobe too as we were afraid of moulds growing back which indeed they did eventually. Hence why we turn to steel wardrobe! The best decision ever! Easiest to clean of course!
