  • Welcome to our living room! This is where the four of us (👦🏻👩🏻🐈🐈‍⬛) take turns being couch potatoes throughout the day. The space is a mix of new and thrifted furniture. There's no specific theme — it's more about choosing pieces that we love — but we try to tie everything together with colors and accessories. Skipping built-ins has worked out well for us, too, as it gives us the flexibility to rearrange the furniture and make room for new additions in future! 🤭
  • The main 'body' of our living area has to be the Eleanor 3-seater sofa we got from Hipvan. We tried it out in the showroom and really liked the deep seating space it offers. Almost a year in and we still enjoy lounging on it! Approved by chonkiest and laziest potato in the household (he basically lives on this sofa lol).
  • Added some cushions and a throw for a more cosy look.
  • This was a 5-yr old rattan table from Harvey Norman (who would've thought!) we got on Carousell for $80. We thought the design was quite interesting and it'd add some textures to the living area too.
  • We also found our TV console on Carousell! It didn't take long for us to confirm on this piece as we loved the wood grains. But of course, we also quickly realised that the design did not allow us to hide those ugly cables 😕 We're still figuring the best way to go about this, but for now we're settling with the various books and display items we can find 😅
  • Home for all the cat-themed gifts from family and friends who instinctively choose anything 'cat' when it comes to us 😂. Ironically, the only items here we bought ourselves are the non-cat ones!
  • This though, is one of the cat items in the home which we bought ourselves. To be honest, the print ended up on the floor because we misjudged the measurements (numbers aren't our strong suit 🤷🏻‍♀️), and it came out way too big. But over time, we've grown to love its placement. It adds a pop of color to the living area and serves as a constant reminder of our two chonks 🐈🐈‍⬛.
  • Thank you for reading!
