  • Welcome in! This is the first view when you enter the house. One of our criteria when hunting for the house was a spacious living space and lots of natural light and think that was the major deciding factor when we decided to go with this place. The original layout was quite different to this. We swapped the living and dining space for a better flow in the house.
  • This is the lower level floor plan that our ID drew for us. It's pretty much exactly how it is now. Bedroom 1 is our home office (which we don't really use much!).
  • And upper level. There used to be 3 bedrooms upstairs but we decided to combine the 2 rooms for a walk-in wardrobe. We will get to that in a bit, stay with us!
  • A closer look on dining room. Chose a warmer beige-y tone for dining area colour theme as a contrast to living room which is more grey-ish. There's plenty of natural light that comes in during the day!
  • Peek-a-boo! This is our secret bar counter. In fact we leave this open most of the time! We love to host friends and family and 8 people can easily sit around to eat, drink and play game (beer pong sometimes).
  • This space keeps changing depending on our mood. Now it consists of: - DIY pour painting - Le Creuset carafe (not for practical use) - 7x BE@RBRICK 100% sitting around - Tissue holder / a man's face (everyone seems to love this guy) - Candle
  • We love our giant 85" TV! We spend most of our free time at home here. The marble feature wall is actually 6x large format tiles, which was our ID's recommendation. It creates the lux look but not as pricey as installing an actual marble slab. We also built in TV console and storage/display cabinets for a seamless and sleek look.
  • We learned later on that this space here originally was an outdoor area. Previous owners sealed up the ceiling with glass panel and tiled up the flooring for a seamless transition. We painted the entire wall with microcement which gives that raw/organic look and adds some texture to the space. Sun rays hit the wall beautifully at different times of the day which is what I love most about the skylight feature.
  • How our ID styled this corner for the photoshoot day. Now it's just a plant but thinking of a refresh soon!
  • Where the biggest transformation took place! We brought the whole kitchen out to an open-concept one. Originally it was an enclosed one at where the windows are. We don't usually do heavy cooking so this works great for us! The island is our breakfast/coffee area for a quick and easy meal and sometimes just a dumping ground for all our groceries.
  • Check out our dry pantry area. We're still learning how to pull the perfect espresso shot and enjoying that journey! All the appliances (toaster/rice cooker etc) and snacks are also hidden in the drawers here. Can peep out for a sunset view in the evenings here!
  • Secret door! Guess what's in there? That's the yard/laundry area and bomb shelter. We changed the location of the door from where the fridge is now, so that we can have a bigger kitchen area. For carpentry and appliances, we chose darker tone that goes well with the whole kitchen theme.
  • This is a dream come true! Always wanted a walk-in wardrobe. Ever since I moved to Singapore, one bedroom wardrobe space was all I had. I've been struggling to keep all my clothes and bags. Now both S and I have 1 whole row each which is amazing!
  • Whitewashed staircase wall and woody textured ceiling panel~
  • Coffee table things
  • Close up on our staircase Painted the wall with a lighter grey tone and added the light railing to brighten up the area at night. And check out our switches - retro switches which adds character to the house!
  • View from the living room! Very breezy when we open up the windows~ Follow us for more updates!
