  • We have relatively smaller bathrooms as our resale unit is from the 90s but we didn’t want to compromise aesthetically. We decided to go for a feature wall in both the bathrooms, and coloured countertop wash-basins for a bright and colourful look. We got the vanity counter off Taobao as it had to be 50cm in size which was not readily available online.
  • To keep things simple, we chose the same grey tile for the non-feature walls and floor. The terrazzo design tile we selected also has a more neutral base so as to not overwhelm the bathroom.
  • For the common bathroom, we chose a puddle style mirror to add a little more visual interest to the space. We also got a coloured basin to match with the feature wall on the left side of the bathroom.
  • For the common bath, we decided on a mix of 2 tiles for the feature wall. The long rectangular tiles visually elongate the space and their glossy finish reflects and amplifies the small amount of light that comes through the small window.
  • We don’t have much space in the bathroom so we also got these shelf style toilet paper roll holders and like to use it to place a room diffuser to keep the space smelling fresh.
