  • Our dining area seamlessly blends with our living room. The previous owner had installed a partition to separate the dining and living spaces, but we opted to remove it. We wanted to ensure that the space receives ample sunlight and maintains a sense of openness and spaciousness.
  • The dining table is conveniently lightweight, allowing us to effortlessly change its placement whenever we please (which comes in handy given our tendency to change our minds). It serves as a multifunctional area where we both work and dine, and it's also a favorite spot for our cats to take their afternoon naps on the chairs.
  • And did we mention that the dining table is a DIY effort? We had this dining table design in mind, but it was hard to source it. We decided to custom a curved edge tabletop, and get the table legs separately online. And boy, was it actually quite tricky to measure and position the table legs considering the curved edges – but we did it.
  • This was the first variation of how we placed the dining table after we've fixed it. Love how lightweight it is! And certainly, the lamp serves as the centerpiece of the dining area, adding character to the house.
