  • In our common bathroom, we went for a modern, dark-themed design with a sleek, minimalist vibe. The black floating vanity with a white countertop is one of our favorite features, and we love how the grey vessel sink adds a stylish, contemporary touch. Above the vanity, we’ve hung a large, round mirror that softens the look while keeping things modern. We’ve kept the countertop clean with just a few essentials, like our soap dispenser and reed diffuser. Our shower enclosure is framed in black to match the overall aesthetic, and we chose grey textured tiles for the inside, which contrast nicely with the lighter wall tiles throughout the rest of the bathroom. The overhead lighting highlights different areas, and we added a hanging globe pendant light near the mirror for a bit of warmth and sophistication. The floor tiles are a soft grey that ties everything together, and we’ve added a brown bath mat by the vanity for a cozy touch. Overall, we’re thrilled with how our bathroom turned out—it has the polished, hotel-inspired look we were going for, with a monochromatic palette that feels both elegant and timeless.
  • [Before] This photo shows our bathroom space before we started our renovation. The white, wall-mounted sink with the standard silver faucet has a very basic look that doesn't fit the dark, contemporary theme we’re going for.
  • [Before] Here's the top view of the toilet before renovation. You can view the original look of our shower area before we began our renovation. The wall tiles provided by HDB consist of vertical strips of textured grey, not ideal to fit our contemporary theme.
  • We are excited about how the vanity turned out! Seriously, no regrets at all! It fits perfectly with our dark contemporary vibe, and the black laminate looks amazing. Plus, the extra storage is super handy, and that wall niche gives it a cool hotel feel. It’s just the right mix of style and function for us :) Feel free to leave your comments or follow us at IG @2chocolatecaramel!
