  • Welcome to our cozy living room! 🏡 We have carefully curated our living room to maximize the use of every inch. The goal is to make the house look spacious and yet comfy! Our love for wood and leather shines through, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. First up, introducing our walk-in cabinet. We got our cabinet from Tao Bao, it is very slim yet very spacious on the inside and it fits nicely in one corner. On top of it, we display our collection of postcards, dried flowers from our anniversary, and some items we bought during our honeymoon in Japan.
  • Our sofa took center stage. As the mister is an avid game player, we got a sofa that fits his height so he can rest his head nicely while reclining the sofa during some serious game sessions. We have gotten Celini because many of my friends had their sofas for a decade. Some may prefer a softer and sink-in sofa, but we like ours a bit more firm. We also purposely chose leather, so I can wipe it down after guests visit. Our wooden furniture is mostly from Scanteak, because of the sturdiness and nice finishing. You know it is quality materials that can last long.
  • One of my favorite parts of the living room is our standing lamp. Love the modern vintage look of it! We also bought this transparent Roborock side table to maximise our space.
  • Since Mister is a game player, you can guess our TV console will have many gadgets. So we decided to go with the flow and showcase all the gadgets in a row neatly as decoration. The preserved bonsai we got from our honeymoon is loved! They are real bonsai that were preserved and have very low (or zero) maintenance. Our friend also bought us a mini stool handmade by local Mutou for us to display our everfresh plant.
  • A close-up of our ever-fresh! Now it is barely the same way, we are still reviving it from our underwater ordeal. :( Keep your plants to a minimal, I would say. Unless you are someone who is very committed and love plants.
  • We change up this corner now and then. Added more wooden items to make it even more "muji". Also, be careful with bamboo material items, many will turn moldy when exposed to Singapore's "hot and wet weather".
  • We also added a sensor light to our favorite corner to highlight the many items we love. Our living room came bare, but little by little we built it up with items we collected from our trips and our daily memories, take the time to slowly put up your favorite corner in your place! Hope you enjoy our living room tour! Do head over to @lovehomeloh for more tips!
