We wanted our workdesk to strike a balance between clean aesthetics and functionality. While the desktop and laptop setup add a bit of necessary clutter, they offer great flexibility. The dual-screen configuration—one for broader tasks, the other for vertical scrolling—helps us switch between different types of work with ease. What really ties it all together is the 4-panel glass door behind the desk. It floods the room with natural light and adds a refreshing atmosphere, making it easier to get into a productive mindset, especially during long work hours.
Taking a look from behind the desk, we’ve done our best to keep things organized. Most of the wiring is tucked neatly away under an extra plank, which keeps the setup looking tidy while maintaining easy access to cables when needed. The blinds at the back aren’t just for privacy - they also serve as a flexible backdrop for video calls, giving us the option to block out distractions. It’s a small detail, but it makes a huge difference when switching between work modes or attending virtual meetings.
Zooming in on our productivity zone, this is where everything comes together. We’ve got two screens - one in landscape and one in portrait mode - offering more space to multitask and be more productive. Whether we’re designing, or simply sorting through documents, this setup really helps streamline our workflow. The Google speaker adds some nice background tunes or even quick voice commands, while the microphone ensures we’re always heard clearly during meetings. We also have a laptop stand for more ergonomic use, and the fast charger on the side keeps our devices powered up without the hassle of slow charging.
In contrast, here’s a glimpse of our relaxation corner. Sometimes, after a long work session, it’s nice to take a step back. We keep it simple - just an iPad and a glass of water with the glass door behind us, offering a calm view outside. It’s a small touch, but having this corner to unwind in gives us that little bit of balance between work and relaxation. When the work gets too intense, just sitting here for a few minutes recharges us for the next task.
The Omnidesk panel makes adjusting the desk height super easy. We love being able to switch between sitting and standing, and it works perfectly for both of us. Whether one of us wants to sit or stand, the desk adjusts to keep things comfortable for everyone
