Curvy and practical: functional fun in terracotta!

Our bathrooms were designed to echo the warm and terracotta textures in our home. We chose to keep the design our common bathroom clean and functional. We thought that an undersink cabinet would be useful for additional storage, but wanted to balance that weight out with a simple, sleek mirror. We went for one with curved edges, to soften the outline of the black frame. 
Our master bathroom was designed in a similar language, but carried quite a few subtle differences. Similar to the common bathroom, we also chose to frame the shower partition in a clean, black line. This would not only be practical (from a cleaning perspective), but also timeless. We tiled the bottom half in terracotta tiles to break the monotony of the bathroom. The highlight for us, thought, was definitely choosing these egg-shaped toilet bowls from Starke to make the space more fun. 
We chose fluted glass panels for our toilet doors. To save cost, we ordered and shipped these doors in from abroad, and got a local contractor to help us install the doors. We’re very pleased with how the fluted glass panels let just enough light in, without compromising privacy.
