  • Our dining area is built for connection and interaction, no matter in which part of the home we or our guests might be.
  • This was the same area before renovation! It used to be the master bedroom toilet. Because it was sitting in the middle of the house, it became a really inefficient use of space. We were glad that it could be re-configured into the centrepiece that it is now!
  • The long table is customized and can comfortably sit 4-6 people. We added the huge pot of plant near the window to make full use of the natural light, as well as to soften the whole look.
  • When we have more guests over, the end of the table can be flipped up so that 2-4 more guests can fit in. We've been able to sit up to 10 guests so far, and rather comfortably we must say!
  • Another view from the dining area. We love how it flows simply and easily to other parts of the home without the transition being too forced or sudden. In our previous place, we find ourselves and our guests sitting around the dining area most frequently, hence it was sensible to make sure it is cosy and fits in both form and function. Home renovation, in its essence, is a deeply personal topic. What would you have done? Share more in your comments!
