  • As two working adults, spending quality time with our two children is important to us. One of the opportunities that we get to do that is having a meal with them, be it dinner after school or a hearty breakfast on the weekends. With that, we decided to get a long stadium table to fit our 6 Rooma chairs. These chairs are perfect for us and our children, and they are much comfier than they look!
  • We got this mirror and placed it next to our dining table so that everyone at the dining table would get a good view of the window! The chairs also complemented with the dark wood laminates in the house too.
  • Fun Fact: this table was thrifted off another resident at our estate! We are still contemplating on our permanent dining table but the current table has served us well thus far! Some have complimented that it matches the home aesthetics due to the complementary white table top with our wall paint colour. Should we just keep it?
  • When deciding on our flooring, we knew we wanted tiles. But what size? To minimize the number of grout lines, we picked 1200x1200 tiles and it turned out to be the best decision. We love how the flooring looks so homogenous from the dining room to the living room and kitchen.
  • For our lighting, we had to decide the placement before we had picked our dining table. Fortunately, it worked out well in the end and we choose ceiling lights over pendent lights for the dining area to keep the minimalist look!
  • Aside from the halo lights, we bordered the dining table with 4 Boba lights to create the soft lighting when needed.
