Welcome to our dining area, the heart of our home and the wife’s absolute favorite spot! This is where we, along with our British Shorthairs, spend a significant amount of our time - whether we are enjoying meals, catching up on Netflix, hosting friends, or even working. We wanted this space to embody our modern minimalist luxe theme while remaining functional and practical with thoughtful details. 
Our dining table is truly a centerpiece of the space. Imported from Brazil, the Metalicus Granite dining table measures 1.8 meters and features a striking black surface with delicate silver and gold textures. This combination gives the granite a depth and complexity that is both visually stunning and luxurious. We complemented it with golden table legs to perfectly align with our dark luxe theme. The Metalicus Granite table is sourced from the esteemed quarries in Brazil, specifically from the renowned Brazilian granite deposits. This exquisite granite is forged from ancient volcanic activity, resulting in a stone that boasts a unique and sophisticated mineral composition. The table features a rich black base adorned with delicate flecks of silver and gold, which are natural inclusions of mica and quartz. These minerals contribute not only to the table’s striking appearance but also to its exceptional durability and low maintenance. It’s not only beautiful but also highly practical, with excellent resistance to heat, scratches, and stains. The table’s cold, smooth surface adds a tactile elegance. 
We’re fortunate to have enough room to place our dining table behind the sofa, which lets us enjoy Netflix while dining. The living room naturally features a spacious rectangle layout, with the bomb shelter conveniently located in the corridor rather than within the living area itself. Our chairs, sourced from Taobao, have quickly become the cats' favorite spot. Their comfort and style enhance the dining experience, and the cats are more than happy to share this space with us. 
As evening falls, the minerals in the table’s surface beautifully reflect the ceiling lights, casting a warm, inviting glow that enhances the ambiance of our dining space. The dining area offers a lovely view of the estate’s expansive garden, which provides a pleasant backdrop for our meals and allows us to enjoy a bit of people-watching. Our British Shorthairs also love lounging by the window to take in the view - if you see them, you see it! 
To add a personal touch, we have coasters that match our British Shorthairs perfectly. We couldn’t resist them when we saw them—they’re built to resemble our cats!
