  • After demolishing the walls the bedroom closest to the living area, it became evident to us that this newly liberated space would serve as an inviting, open-concept workspace and a cozy reading nook. We decided to outfit the area with stylish shelves for our books and a plush armchair that allows me to either work on my laptop or unwind after a demanding day of work.
  • On the shelves, we have a mix of real and faux plants, adding life to the display. Rattan baskets not only look good but also hide less attractive items. We initially considered a limewash finish for this wall but changed our minds because our kitchen and foyer cabinets are already using Lamitak's microcement laminate. As an alternative, we chose to adorn this space with cherished photographs that hold special meaning to us!
  • View from the dining area before we added the cushy arm chair!
  • On the other side of the room is the husband's workstation!
