We intentionally designed this space to be dark, and moody ambiance, different from the rest of the house. We wanted it to be a transitional space from the stresses of the outside to serenity of home

We extended a wall to create space for my husband's shoe collection and define the entryway. The shoe cabinet was elevated from the floor to accommodate this vintage camel stool where we put on our shoes
