  • There are a few reasons why that we decided not to renovate the bathroom. 1. Upon receiving the key to our house, we went to open the water pipe and PUB personnel did it for us as we encountered issue in opening it. Then, water pipe burst the next day. It broke the tiles and damages the wall, from the toilet, to the service yard and to the living room and to outside of our house. We asked around of our relative and friends, they mentioned that sometimes, even after 2, 5 and 7 years, it can still broke at any time as it happened to them. They had to find tiles that were deep inside their store room and also trying to reach out to their neighbours if they were to have extra tiles. That is when we realised that lets wait for after 5 years and see if we still wants to renovate. 2. Even though the feature wall of the toilet does not comes to our liking, as we are afraid of the grout lines turning yellow/black. Surprisingly after 2 years of living here, it is still as well maintained! Other than that, the plain tiles is something what I can cave in to as its still look aesthetically nice. 3. We do not have to fork out extra money at that point for renovating of our toilet and we still have a lot of time to see the 'don'ts' in people's experience of their new house. This is to prevent us further to not make a wrong decision. Hence, here we are flaunting our unrenovated toilets. Lets start with the guest room toilet which is also know for out boys' toilet!
  • Embracing the sink provided by HDB and added a pole to hang towels to have that hotel feel for a bit.
  • Since our boys are using this toilet, keeping it clutter free and organized, are easier for them to see and use the things on the sink.
  • Surprisingly, the shower head installed by HDB can be changed to any type of water pressure that we prefer.
  • The look when you enters the guest/boys' toilet.
  • The look of the guest/boys toilet.
  • This is our master bedroom toilet. As we use it often, we keep it as minimal and clutter-free as so that there is not much to clean other than focusing more on the toilet bowl, and flooring daily.
  • Did you spot an attachment to the toilet bowl's tank? I attached a small caddy as so that I can place toilet bowl cleaning solution and having it easily access. The reason why that we do not want to place any enclosed storage is because the fear of molds/dews coming in as we made both toilets as wet toilets. We cleaned the toilet daily hence we can't afford to have that thought behind our mind every time we showered/clean that, "Have we wiped dry the cabinet?". Hence we made everything easily accessible.
  • We input clock as so that we know how long we took to shower and also if we were in a rush, we could target the time of how long we have to shower. It has been the most useful in the bathroom for us! There is no permanent fixture for the caddy, shaver and toothbrush organiser. We use a suction type of material to stick to the wall. This is because we could easily take out and wash the whole thing! All of these are made of plastics and it is durable! We don't have to worry about moulds or afraid to make any area wet.
  • This is our towel rack that only uses suction to stick to the wall. No nails needed! IT has been 2 years and it is still holding strong!
  • Simple fixtures such as the shower shelf that we managed to input on the shower head that was provided by the HDB.
  • Embracing the feature wall by HDB in our master bedroom.
