We believe that our home is an extension of our personality and style. Aesthetic decor allows us to express our tastes, preferences, and creativity. It reflect our unique identity and make our living space feels like a true reflection of ourself. Not only that, after a hectic day at work, all we want to do is just come back to a calming and cozy environment. Warm colors and soft textures such as these cushion covers from SHEIN makes our sofa feel inviting and comfortable. The right decor choices can also make your space functional, organized, and visually pleasing like this corner of frames, table lamp and a small pot of faux plant. It does not have to be expensive but it served a purpose of looking aesthetically pleasing to the eyes hence creating a harmonious environment which can eventually impact on your mental well-being in a positive manner. Here is how this corner looked like at night. We just love how yellow dim lights bounces its light on our decor items..It evoke this sense of calmness and happiness in us. Investing time and effort into creating an aesthetically pleasing living space can lead to long-term satisfaction with your home. You also don't have to figure it all out overnight.. Over the course of 2 years, we have made so many changes , upgrades and bought too many things for our space.. lol! The point is, just enjoy the decorating journey.. It is your space and your home anyways! Night and Day.. both times this corner shine! Also, shoutout to our Hipvan - Helen 2 Seater sofa.. This is one of our early purchase in the house..and we love love how its seated in that corner waiting to serve its purpose to our guests.. Those big pillows serves a bigger purpose.. its for our guests who likes to "chillax" on the carpet and they can just laze around in that corner of the house.. We cannot leave this post by not showcasing our DIY canvas art...Our plan was to purchase and put up artwork around but we have yet to find suitable pieces of art for our home.. so the frames hanging at home are all DIY by yours truly..2 years on..we are still happy looking at it.. Here is another photo of our DIY canvas art.. And another 2 smaller pieces displayed near our TV area.. Let's just say..we love this unassuming looking canvas art.. it does not crowd our decor and its just there but not there! lol!
