Hello! This is our living room. We felt that this room is the best room to showcase in our introduction post, as it embodies the look & feel of the whole apartment best. It is also one of our favourite room in our newly renovated BTO home. The softness of the ripple/S-track curtains coupled with cosy LED lighting makes this the perfect place for my husband and I to wind down after a long day at work and watch Netflix.
As we hacked down the walls for bedroom 2 & 3 to create our new living room (& study room), we have ample light coming into our home. This is great for saving electricity during the day!
This is the original 4 Room BTO layout of our home. We didn’t like how the corridor is under utilised and because of the walls, certain areas may not get as much natural sunlight. So, my husband came up with our new home layout which we both love!
We pretty much hacked down all walls and erected new walls to create an entire new room from the original living room. We now also have a much larger and open common area for friends and family to gather.
Here’s a little more details on what was done! We absolutely love how all the space in the house has been maximise with his new layout :)
