  • Welcome in! This is our small entryway, just right beside our dining area. It looks rather plain in one look, but there was a lot of effort that went behind for this entry way. 1. We shifted the entire DB box, from where the 3 switches are, to on top of the mirror. The feature wall cleverly covers up the DB box. Can you spot it? hehehe 2. The door is tilted, due to our fengshui master's advice. Instead of just ordering a door frame that allows for tilted angle, which will not look elegant, our ID helped us to do partition for this titled door. (Not to mention the amount of stress both of us had when subcon was building the partitioned wall - multiple rectification was needed to ensure alignment, but luckily all was done in time) 3. A grey laminated partition wall here to help balance out the woody-ness 4. Sockets below the ledge 5. Mirror to check ourselves before leaving the house. I guess it also help to visually expand the house? We were also particular in the shape of the mirror, that it is more than a semicircle, to achieve a 'fuller' look. 6. To blend in with our L-shaped dining settee which functions as a settee for shoe-wearing and storage for shoes.
  • Popping in a pic of our settee and storage here! Drawer for socks, dog harness and leashes; Flip-down system for easy access to shoes
  • A closer look at our Aqara digital door lock. For homeowners who are using the Aqara ecosystem, this digital door lock is high recommended! Facial scan, pin access, physical lock, app unlock, temporary passwords - they have it all!
  • A close up on our switches~ Funny story - when these were first installed I did not notice them at all and told my ID the electrician forgot to have them installed. They were just camouflaged. Hope the electrician and ID forgave my reno brain.
  • Looking a bit messy but this is the current state! The CCTV is supposed to be mounted on the ceiling, but we are making do with this arrangement for now! We only switch it on when none of us are at home to look at our furkid. (you can see his round bum at the bottom of the mirror - yes he is a velcro dog)
