Welcome to our kitchen where all the good food are made! We are very luckily to have an open concept kitchen to make our space looks bigger. When we first knew that we have an open concept kitchen we are still thinking if we should have a sliding door to conceal the cooking area (since most of the people have the mentality that oil will splatter and your living area will feel oily over the years). Honestly, it depends on how is your cooking so judge based on your cooking frequency and not just based on what others would comment. Instead of the dual colour tone we decided to keep our kitchen uniform throughout the house. Our ID highlighted to us that it will look dark if we were to continue with this walnut shade! In the end, both of us still stick to our plan to go with this shade. We have no regrets! Out kitchen lighting is from yeelight, it is a smart light which can be sync with our google home. The colour of the lightings can be adjusted to different tones. initially we are thinking if we should get a track light as track light is aesthetically more pleasing. In the end, we decided to get this light because of its smart function. Next we got our double bowl sink as we know that single bowl sink could be alittle small just for washing of dishes. i will need a place to separate out the dirty and clean utensils. Built in oven has always been something that I wanted in a house especially during festive seasons i need a sturdy oven for my bakes! 
Within the kitchen area we have another corner for water dispenser and thermomix! We also installed a corner fan just to ventilate the kitchen while cooking! Only the chef will understand how hot it is while cooking. This corner fan was only decided right before we discuss on the electrical plans. Last but not least, thermomix is one of most expensive kitchen gadget. No doubt it has alot of functions but i have
