Kitchen organization with a balance for aesthetic

  • We love our farmhouse kitchen and in an attempt to balance both function + aesthetic, some thought has been put into how kitchen organization is being done.
  • Not going to lie, it does get cluttered if we don’t keep things in check. We don’t live the minimalist life and Ven is guilty of buying too much stuff *glances*
  • Recently added the knife holder to help organize this area better, it has a cutlery drying holder too. Bonus points for being in a colour that matches the kitchen. We really like the Modori chopping board set too, which comes with 4 different boards to be used for different purposes (raw meat, veg, fruits etc.) - Do take note that this has to be away from the sink/water source as I heard the stand will get rusting.
  • At our drinks corner, there’s some cups on display and these the the mugs we use the most. We also displayed some Nespresso capsules so easy access when we want to make some coffee.
  • At the same area, an array of hot beverage sachets and tea bags are arranged neatly. This one of Ven’s fave organization done!
  • We also love these cutlery organizers which can be opened up to fit any drawer better, plus you can spilt up each type of cutlery so you can reach out for them and store them easily. This drawer is on one side of the stove. P.S. Gold is the preferred choice of metal in vengelhaus 🤪
  • One the other side of the stove, we store pots and pans that we use the most. Thinking to get another shelf here, maybe adjustable one, so that the pots can be stacked more to utilize the space better.
  • Another thing we really like in the kitchen is the egg dispenser! It’ll roll down when you take an egg out from the bottom
  • For a home, organization is a work in progress so don’t fret if you find that your home may be cluttered. Tackle one area at a time! Our kitchen is still far from organized, such as the cabinet where we store plates, bowls and trays. There’s also organization solutions that we have purchased and can’t wait to share more once we have that all set up!
