Living Room Cozy Corner Ideas with Sunset View

Here's my take on adding some cozy elements to this living room of a 3-room BTO. Do read up on my earlier post on my living room on how I picked up inspiration in designing this space! The living room is the next area where you'd spend most of your time at, apart from the bedroom. So it'd be wise to invest in furniture and items that are designed for a more comfortable lifestyle. On the topic of comfort and convenience, this hydraulic coffee table from Nitori is one that allows tasks to be done interchangeably altogether! The tabletop can be raised when you need to work on your laptop while sitting comfortably on the sofa. Alternatively, it can serve as a mini dining table if you wish to eat and watch the TV at the same time. 
This is how the coffee table looks like when the table has been lowered. Here's my one-arm sofa from Cozylant which fits nicely where the power socket is. Here's my favourite corner of the living room, the window settee. Here's a tip: Do leave a decent allowance between the settee and sofa to allow vacuum and mop to reach the back / corners for cleaning. Throw in some cushions and sofa throw to add a touch of cozy vibe. My pebble cushions are a mixture from local and TaoBao Muji! It's a nice corner if you'd like to seclude yourself from other things and enjoying the view through the window~ Perks of staying on a high floor is getting unblocked views too!

We get the south-west sun which may be good and bad, depending on how you perceive it. For me, I love sunset catching which is a plus because this means I get to enjoy an almost unblocked sunset views while relaxing on the settee. The downside is of course, is heat from the afternoon sun. Catching the sunset on good days like this. My goal in creating a space that is both visually appealing and comfortable is achieved.
