  • O'la!~ Dedicating this post to our living room, which is connected to our dining area and kitchen. More details of those in the upcoming post.
  • We kept the living room cosy by using warm and neutral colors. For the living room walls, we apply limewash by vasari, in the color 'sesame'. Our carpentry laminates are from panaplast, loft birch. They have 3 different birch colors, light loft birch, loft birch and dark loft birch. We find that loft birch match best with our theme and our limewash paint. We built a row of carpentry at our entryway with a curved niche. This serves as display for some photos and figurines that we have collected over the years. The carpentry doors are also intentionally curved at the end so as to create dimension and add design to the living space.
  • Over at our TV console, we mounted a 75' inch Samsung the frame TV onto the concrete wall. We do not have a feature wall, and are pleasantly surprised that the TV is able to flush completely towards the wall. We install a power track to cater for all the electronics around the TV console. The good thing about a power track is that it allows flexibility for us to add on more plugs in the future without having to engage an electrician to open up a power point.
  • Our L-shaped sofa is from Cellini and since the sofa was delivered, we spent so much time here watching netflix and lounging. When it comes to sofa purchase it is rlly important to visit the showroom physically and test it out yourself to find what really suits you. Behind the sofa we furnished it with a faux tree (as we felt caring for a living tree would be too much of a commitment for our lifestyle). Initially, we didn't want to include plants in the space. However, the touch of greenery really helps to enhance the aesthetics and binds the different design elements together. We bought it from the Nursery Singapore!
  • Here's our very cute rilakkuma staring at all of you. o.o" Say hi! :D
  • Zooming in onto our open shelf in our carpentry, we placed a clock that missus very proudly purchased. Studio ghlibi is her fave and reminds her of her childhood. We also placed our divoom speaker and a trap that now houses our aromatics
  • Oh!!! Before we end off, in the spirit of CNY, we bought these CNY snacks and decor from JB City Square! There is a huge bazaar at the 1st floor with many vendors. All CNY snacks can try on the spot!!! To display the snacks and ensure all guest who visits have easy access to it, we rotated our side table to create a makeshift coffee table. That's all from us today and here's wishing everyone a very happy CNY! Gong Xi Fa Cai and look forward to our next post! Huat ah :D
