Manoeuvre our way with HIP toilets

Here is a little story of our house. We bought our house in the midst of the HDB HIP project, and the common toilet has already completed the HIP but the master toilet has not as the previous owner did not opt in for master toilet. Luckily for us, we written in to HDB and they allowed us to opt in for the master toilet. This enables us to channel the spare cash to other areas of the house!
Grab bars are installed which come in very handy for my elderly mother. We also feel that it is a pity to re-do a newly renovated toilet as such we pretty much make do with the HDB HIP toilet which isn't that bad in our opinion.

This is our master toilet which we have a say in the tiles selection so we opted for this matte greyish wall tiles instead of the glossy tiles in our common toilet. We also got our contractor to build up this mirror cabinet for storage needs as well as to keep the windows out of sight.
We will usually leave our toilet door and mirror cabinet open when the toilet is not in use to help with ventilation.
