  • We always wanted house plants in the house. Unfortunately for us, after a few tries of growing real plants..we gave up and came to the conclusions that both of us do not have green thumbs. But we did not gave up on that dream. The thought of creating an urban oasis without a balcony lead us to a creative and fulfilling project. You see, we do not have a dedicated "oasis" for our indoor jungle.. but the moment you enter our living room, you will be greeted with greeneries scattered all over. The fiddle fig tree is our favourite in the house. That is the first faux plant we bought.
  • Nowadays faux plants looked very real especially high-quality ones which often mimic real plants closely, with realistic textures and colours. In our view, faux plants adds value to the space…like these faux plants we bought from Shopee... Can this be considered an urban oasis corner? Why not? We would just stare and admire these plants every-time our eyes land on this corner of the house. It brings us so much calmness and warmth in our mind.
  • Look at how gorgeous and cosy these faux plants look even at night.. thanks to the warm yellow lighting...
  • Faux plants maintain their vibrant and fresh appearance year-round. They won't wither or lose leaves, ensuring that our home always looks inviting and green such as this hanging plant from Hooga. We just love how it looks hanging out with the TV! I mean look at how it hangs out in this corner.
  • We also love the fact that faux plants don't need natural sunlight, so we can place them in any room, regardless of the lighting conditions. Also, maintaining faux plants is super simple. All we do is just use our trusty Dyson to vacuum any dust on our favourite eucalyptus leaves from Ikea. The best part is it does not need watering!
  • In this corner, we decided to add small potted faux-plants to add some fun to the plant stand. How cute eh!! We are still thinking of either to paint the pot or replace it with nicer ones. Let us know what should we do with these small pots?!
