  • Welcome to our bathroom reveal! We kept our renovation budget minimal for these spaces by retaining the original HDB tiles. We felt that their neutral tones provided a subtle contrast to the grey and white palette used throughout the rest of the home, so we decided to work with them instead of replacing them. To elevate the aesthetic, we chose unique, irregularly-shaped mirrors to add visual interest and personality to the space. For the vanity cabinets, we opted for the same laminate finish in both bathrooms, ensuring a cohesive look across the two. A key detail to note is that in the Master Bathroom, we selected a sintered stone countertop for the vanity, which offers superior durability and a sleek, modern finish.
  • Since we reside on the top floor, our bathrooms doesn’t come with a traditional box-up on the toilet ceilings. However, to cleverly conceal the air conditioning pipes, we opted for an L-shaped box-up design, complete with soft T5 lighting. It’s a subtle touch, but it truly enhances the ambience of the space, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. One of missus best buys on Taobao will be the retractable insect nets. The installation was straightforward, and the cost was a fraction of what local contractors would have charged. It’s been a game-changer, keeping mosquitoes and flies at bay while maintaining the serenity of the space.
  • We decided to treat ourselves to a Grohe rainshower set, especially with the great promotion they had. I have to say, showering with it really creates such a different and refreshing experience.
  • Look at how our mirror reflects our bedroom display shelves. So nice 😍
  • Oh! We also decide to change the default hdb doors to louvre slide and swing doors simply because it looks a lot nicer :] No regrets getting from this supplier as it is slightly cheaper from those heavily advertised ones. That’s the end of our bathroom post! Hope you guys enjoy!
