  • We are so excited to be part of this season 7 ambassadors. Welcome to our humble home, a space we've been dreaming about for months, ever since the renovations began. We live in a 5-room resale HDB of 120 sqm, located in Woodlands, right next to the MRT. Over the next few days, we'd love to take you on a journey, showing how this house transformed into the home we've always envisioned.
  • Our home reflects a harmonious blend of modern, Scandinavian, and Japandi styles. With rich wood tones, sleek dark brown kitchen cabinets, and natural elements like rattan, the space feels warm and inviting. A few feature light fittings and the ribbed glass features add a modern, elegant touch. The earthy tones of our furniture and the clean lines throughout create a balance between coziness and simplicity, making this house not just beautiful, but also functional—a perfect haven for our daily lives.
  • To save on renovation costs, we decided to opt out of any built-ins in our living room and dining area. For furniture, we mostly bought items from Malaysia and Taobao, and we definitely saved quite a bit! While our home is far from complete, we are happy with how it has turned out so far.
  • If you notice, we also created a hidden door to our storeroom, which gives a seamless finish that we absolutely love. What's behind the storeroom door is still a mess, so it really helps to hide all the bulky essentials!
