Our Cosy Living Room: ZERO CARPENTRY & Hints of Disney Magic!

Welcome to our living room! This is where we spend most of our time at home, chilling on the recliner sofa, playing games on our PS4 and watching TV. We painted our walls and ceiling the same colour to add to the cosiness of the space! Here you can have a glance at the lighting in our living room, which comprises of 2 Voli (exposed) and 2 Voli (recessed) in the false ceiling, from Sol Luminaire. As we were on the top floor with a *slightly* higher ceiling, we wanted our full height curtains to reflect a taller space, hence we did not want the curtain pelmet. Zero regrets! I managed to catch the beautiful morning sun streaming in through our day curtains. We love how inviting the space is thanks to the curves and soft finishings. When I first saw this TV console on Taobao, I knew we had to get it! I like how the design on the 4 doors isn't uniform, and how the legs are huge wooden balls. The edges are curved and rounded, and the colours matched our house perfectly. IMO, this TV console adds a nice playful touch :) Here you can also see the 2 ball lights (Voli) from Sol Luminaire, which are adjustable and dimmable! 
The view of our ceiling from the ground. Here, you can see the cute curve and rounded edges, which is a unique feature in our home! We also love our KDK airy fan, especially the reverse function when we turn the AC on. 
Back to our TV console area, let me show you what we have on display! On the left, we have a huge Pooh figurine (super cute with the butterfly on his nose!!!), some Lego flowers in a flower pot and a rocket with the aliens from Toy Story. In the middle, we have 'The Shoppes' on the 'street' which is our Samsung Soundbar. Haha! Mainly dessert/coffee/bread shops manned by our cute disney characters. On the left, we have our Google Nest Hub, a photo frame and figurines that cater to the husband's interests! ;) Ultraman, Gundam and One Punch Man. We have the floor recliner from Nine.N, which is a big hit with kids who come to visit! A decorative frame in the corner from Hooga and a basket for the extra cushions. We took a long time (almost a year!) to decide on a side table because we couldn't find one that was nice and not too bulky. We ended up getting this, which suited our colour scheme and featured a cool transparent bottom (curved too, which is a bonus!). We mainly have tissue paper, with a floral handmade cover that I sewed, a basket to contain all the remote controls and a coaster. On the other side of the sofa, we have a dehumidifier/air purifier hidden in the corner, subwoofer and lint roller. The subwoofer is also used as a mini side table. Hehe. Last but not least, we have our PS4 hidden in our TV console! :] See you in the next post!
