  • Let us introduce in detail on our dining space! A space where we spend lots of time together (other than the living room), just us two or when hosting our families and friends. Our dining area connects directly to our living room. Due to space constraints, we had to find a way to squeeze in a dining table and chairs without it being too much or cramped. We found this wooden round table from Comfort Furniture that would fit at least 6-8 people comfortably!
  • To make the space even cozier, we decided to limewash one side of our dining wall ourselves. Love how it makes the space looks homier and more welcoming. I think limewash paint is a clever way to add a unique yet subtle texture or focal point to your home! Took us at least three days to complete but it was all worth it. We also installed a suspended ceiling fan near our dining area - an essential to keep everyone cool during meal times.
  • The dining area in particular has become a much-loved space to hang around, so let's take a look at how we decorated it.
  • We love vases, books, ceramics, plants, candles etc, so our decorating process is a constant struggle. We try to refrain ourselves from cramming the dining space with all these miscellanies. Oops!
  • We do think we've found a peaceful balance for the dining area, and that is probably due to the neutral colour scheme and all of the soft shapes we used.
  • Other than just having our meals and gatherings here, it's also a great spot for us to use it as a workspace as one of us works from home.
  • & ever since we moved in, we found our new love language; hosting. We love to host our families and friends so here are some of the foooood we’ve served during our house warming! That pretty much sums up our little dining space. See you guys in the next post :)
