  • Hello Homies! This is our view as we enter our home where we have almost no foyer space. Follow us through to see how we managed to craft out space for our "shoe cabinet" in our foyer!
  • We used to debate about to have or not to have a built-in "shoe cabinet", but having this built was definitely one of the best decisions made as it fitted a huge storage space without taking up too much space at our almost non-existant foyer. We also love that the cabinet's depth flushed cleanly behind our main door.
  • We found a door wrap service on Carousell and it elevated our entryway as the door now blends with the theme of our home (no wooden looking door please). We also installed our door lock from Igloohome, and love the easy push / pull mechanism!
  • Behind our door is our hidden storage cabinet! 1.5m in length, where is house our DB box, shoes, toolbox, first aid box, and many other essentials!
  • A home for our home slipper is a must! Can't imagine having our home slippers being attacked by our robot vacuum if there were to be lying around outside..
  • As our dining table is right next to the storage, we kept this side of our storage cabinet for home essentials! We love the niche that our ID designed for us as well, where we feature some of our favorite decor items.
  • In our niche, we have a flower dome that we made together right before we moved into our place! We also have a chinese caligraphy LED frame gifted by a good friend (she bought it at a good cause, check out the tagged link), and a customized illustration that we used for our Wedding! Oh! We have a socket there as we have plans to use it for a cctv for our kitchen in the future!
  • A cute pair of Mickey & Minnie in traditional chinese wedding costume that we brought home from our first Disneyland trip together!
  • This side of our storage hides our DB Box, and also where we keep our internet router. We house our shoes and socks here for easy access. We also have a dedicated shelf for our recycle bags that otherwise would have been long forgotten if stored in our storeroom. If you have been contemplating on having a built-in "shoe cabinet", we hope our post helps you make a decision! Cost aside, having a really well planned "shoe cabinet" can really make your entryway look uncluttered and thus welcoming! Do check us out on @eugohome_ on ig to see what we are up to for this weekend! Thanks for reading!
