This area of our home is the one that changes most often - for example when we receive home display gifts from friends and family or purchase new homewares or souvenirs from overseas, we tend to display them here. This area of our home is the one that changes most often - for example when we receive home display gifts from friends and family or purchase new homewares or souvenirs from overseas, we tend to display them here. 
From another angle :) We placed our candle warmer in this spot as it is near the centre of the living room where we or our guests usually hang out. It also serves another purpose as ambient lighting if we don't want to turn on the main lights. 
We placed a mirror right beside the main door so we can have a fit check right before we head out of home, and also for aesthetic display reasons. 
Lastly.. we had a built in cabinet here for shoe storage, miscellaneous items and also to hide away our DB box. We chose half fluted half plain design for variety, and to minimise cleaning.
