Our Entryway: Negative spaces abound

Our niche is the first built-in that greets you when you enter our home! Our DB box is also hidden in the cabinetry next to the niche and it has given us additional space to keep our shoes. Do consider installing AA tracks for added maneuverability; some shoes are much higher than others so it's definitely an added bonus if you're able to adjust the planks in your shoe cabinet. We intentionally kept our entryway open for more negative spaces so that our home maintains the airy and inviting vibes that we had envisioned. 
We installed the Luxus digital doorlock that is synchronised so it's extremely fuss-free for us when we open and close our main gate and door. The mechanism allows us to have both the gate and door locked and unlocked simultaneously - a feature we had never thought would bring us this much convenience. Gone are the days where we need to fiddle with keys, this synchronised lock is a game-changer. We can lock and unlock our door in a jiffy, how nifty! We can never revert to keys ever again, what about you?
