  • Plants have become a cherished part of our home, adding life and warmth to various spaces. Tending to our plant babies has given us our first taste of parenthood, filled with exploration, growth, and plenty of trial and error. While we’ve faced challenges—losing one of our bonsais along the way—we’ve learned valuable lessons that I hope will help us continue nurturing the rest and keep our green spaces thriving.
  • Our home doesn’t get a ton of direct sunlight, but there’s just enough to create a cozy environment where our plants can still thrive. We’ve carefully selected a mix of plants that can adapt to these conditions. The Pachira, known for its resilience, has been a great addition to our space.
  • Surprisingly, our Everfresh has also been thriving, and I’ve learned to care for it despite its more delicate nature. It's been growing well and has been consistently putting out more shoots every month!
  • As for our bonsais, it’s been a bit of a journey. I’ve had two—unfortunately, one didn’t make it, but our Feroniella Bonsai is slowly adapting and finding its place in our home.
  • Lately, our mum gave us a bouquet of flowers she bought from the market because she thought it was pretty. We were never really into flowers, but we bought a vase for it and tried to display it anyway. Now, we’re convinced—these flowers are quite stunning, even without arranging them. The bold pop of color they bring has completely changed our perspective, and I love the vibrant energy they add to the space. I’ve even started looking into flower subscriptions—who knew flowers could be so captivating? As we continue to care for our plant babies (and now, perhaps, flowers!), I’m excited to see how these spaces evolve over time. It’s been a rewarding experience so far, and I hope our green corners continue to grow and thrive as we do.
