  • Welcome to our living room~ Most of our house is Wabi Sabi themed and much of the inspiration came from Pinterest! The entire living area including the door runs on the same laminate from Lamitak - we just like it matching 🤭 It took us a long time to find the perfect laminate. As you can already tell we wanted the console/feature wall to have that 'minimalist' look with no additional displays whatsoever except for a area for the speakers/game console/Google home nest. Fluted panels were a must have for us and we had it incorporated right above the console and island area.
  • Instantly fell in love with the L Shaped sofa from Cellini. The sofa colours are customizable but we loved how the original colours was a combination of Olive and grey. Another thing I loved about this L-Shaped sofa was the side wood holders that were so convenient for putting your morning beverage or even having displays like magazines etc. Your choice! We got a matching rattan armchair to complete the wholelook.
  • I love our windows. This was inspired by my trip to London. And I was trying to replicate the same look but with grills. We got linen & fabric curtains, both day and night ones - was just going for that warm cozy feeling for the living room. The bottom part of the windows was just an empty space, hence we decide to turn them in cabinets to utillize more storage space - woes of a Maisonette owner (limited storeroom space).
  • The mister loves his whisky, hence a bar area was definitely mandatory in our house. We didn't want to do any more built ins as we already have too many and didn't want the house looking cluttered so we opted for this lovely rattan bar cart which we found in Island Living. What I love so much about this bar cart is it's not your typical bar cart. And if fits so well in that little spot between our sofa and armchair. I love how it adds a lovely charm to the living area.
  • Most of our living room lighting are from shiok lighting & we went for the recessed ones. We also made sure to get a ceiling fan that matched the same shade of our fluted panel 🤭 Our feature wall/console also links up to our island & on the right side of the console, there's an opening which links up to the yard as well.
