  • Welcome to Cafe Kopicats! We didn’t go for a dining table set and here’s why. We’ve always wanted a dining table with different coloured chairs to breathe some vibrancy into the space. An oval-shaped table was our choice as we wanted to be able to seat more guests when they come over. In this current arrangement, we’re able to sit 7 adults at the table comfortably for a meal together. The arch-shaped see through glass is a main feature of the dining room, allowing our guests to see into the kitchen while we’re prepping food or making their drinks.
  • We chose an art print that matches the decor of our dining space. We feel that the white walls of our home really makes the colours from all the furniture and decor pop even more. 🌈
  • Our ID suggested a built-in settee with storage as seats for the dining area but we chose to go with all loose furniture instead. This allows us to mix and match our decor and also change it up once in a while to refresh the home.
  • This dining area doubles up as a workstation for the wife on her Work From Home days. The table is big enough to set up her mini office. There’s even still space for the two of us to have our meals on the other empty side of the table. (spot the catto in this photo 🤣)
  • Current permanent essentials that we have on our dining table: candles, candle holders, cat-shaped salt and pepper shakers, a vase of crotchet flowers and a ceramic cat-shaped utensil holder.
