  • Time to do laundry! We have a small service yard, which extends from our kitchen. We did not see a need to separate the service yard from the kitchen, because of how small the area is (cue claustrophobia). Similar to our kitchen appliances, we got the washing machine and dryer from the Samsung Bespoke series (pity they don’t come in white!). We use the Samsung SmartThings app to control the settings and track the progress of the washing/drying! Beside the washing machine and dryer, we have some full-height carpentry; which looks like it would be able to store quite a lot right?
  • …nope. It’s actually really shallow, and was primarily built to hide a huge pillar (which houses the water pipes). This is also so that it is nicely aligned with our kitchen carpentry!
  • Spot the offending pillar @_@
  • Despite the shallow-ness, we made it work, and keep our laundry essentials such as hangers and laundry sheets here!
  • On the other side of the service yard is our gas heater, vacuum and robo-vacuum! We hang our onions/garlic/aromatics in netted bags at the windows, to keep our kitchen countertops clean and clutter-free.
  • Thanks for dropping by! IG: @robertslewzaijia
