  • One key renovation decision that has worked exceptionally well for us, both in our first BTO and our current home, and one we are definitely planning to carry forward, is opting for floor-to-ceiling cabinetry.
  • Our wardrobe, reaching all the way to the ceiling, maximizes vertical space and turns what would otherwise be wasted area into valuable storage for our clothing. It also creates the illusion of a higher ceiling, making our lounge area feel bigger. Side story: The wardrobe doors were so massive that they couldn’t fit into the lift, so our contractor and his team had to haul them up the stairs. Imagine if we were staying on the 40th floor!
  • In our entryway, the floor-to-ceiling cabinets provide plenty of room for essential items, helping to keep clutter at bay and everything neatly organized.
  • One of the best parts is that by extending the cabinetry all the way up, we avoid those hard-to-reach dust traps that often form on top of shelves.
  • This not only reduces the time and effort required for cleaning but also helps in maintaining a cleaner and tidier space. Would you consider incorporating floor-to-ceiling cabinetry in your own home? Follow us on IG @houseofgoodcheer for more daily updates! :)
